Shanna Housman's integrative approach to therapy respects and values the diversity and uniqueness of individual clients. She adapts therapeutic interventions to the client’s specific needs and goals by using evidence-based methods, including cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solutions-focused therapy.

Shanna helps her clients to identify their own strengths to adjust unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior. She creates an authentic, collaborative, and trusting relationship with her clients. She strives to provide support, education, and a safe space for exploration and discovery while empowering clients to create lasting change and healing in their lives. Shanna is comfortable integrating matters of faith and spirituality into the counseling session.

Shanna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of California - Davis, and is in the final semester of her masters program in counseling from Colorado Christian University. Her treatment interests include: person-centered; adults and couples; adolescents and young adults; parenting; anxiety and depression; stress management; communication skills; grief; and trauma. As an intern, she provides counseling services for clients at a reduced rate.
